Marathon Daze

On October 29, 2006 I ran the 3rd annual Grand Rapids Marathon. It was a beautiful day, a bit windy, but clear and sunny. I cut 45 minutes off my first marathon for a final time of 4:03. I didn't meet my goal of beating George W. Bush's race time of 3:44, but all in all I was very happy with my race.



Here's my Dad and I after the race. Some day I'll beat him! They give you those mylar blankets to keep you warm. I think they make better capes.
